Since 1787, York College has made a difference in the lives of our students, the York community, and society at large. Founded to educate local students in “the learned and foreign languages, English, mathematics, and other useful branches of literature,” York College continues this legacy by educating students in over 53 majors and 55 minors from 32 states and 30 countries. In order to offer this level of opportunity, York College relies on alumni, parents, and friends to help provide the funding necessary which allows students to take advantage of these programs.
York College’s Annual Fund is a primary source of scholarship support. Donations to the Annual Fund are the largest source of funds the College relies on to provide financial assistance to students. It provides the means for creating educational opportunities, expanding intellectual horizons, and making it possible for students to achieve their career ambitions. Monies donated to the Annual Fund go to work immediately, making available the resources for a holistic educational experience, which helps turns college students into young professionals.
You can make a difference in the lives of the over 5,000 students who attend York College. Your unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund helps YCP meet the most urgent campus needs and is the primary source of scholarship support. Your gift gives YCP the ability to hire excellent professors, invest in relevant academic technologies, and offer professional opportunities, such as internships, the Career Services office, and the annual Success After College week.
